DEPOSIT AND CONTRACT

You digitally sign a contract and fill out our questionnaire, provided to you in our online client portal. After you secure your date with a retainer-payment it is time for our shoot together.

TIME TO TAKE YOUR PHOTOS

IT IS GO TIME!

99% of the time the first few minutes of any photoshoot can feel a bit like uncharted territory, until you naturally relax & feel confident in front of the camera. We will help you do this! We will be playing your favorite music and talk you through it all. Our goal is for you to just let go and enjoy, while we capture your images. We may gently prompt interactions to capture sincere expressions, and guide you with your posing, so you never have to wonder what to do next. We keep our session together interactive and as stress-free as possible, to capture you at your best, so you love your images, but also have an amazing experience to look back to!

Frequently Asked Questions

WANT EVEN MORE INFORMATION?

  • We know, it's very popular to limit session-times/ give exact time frames depending on the booked session package. HOWEVER: We at WUNDERKIND want to give us all the time we need to capture the vision perfectly, and therefore typically don't have a set timeframe (excluded are mini-sessions). Usually, sessions range from around 1 - 1.5 hours.

    Sometimes- depending on a multitude of factors- it can be a lot quicker or a bit longer too.

  • All of our session packages come with a set base amount of images. You can gladly upgrade! Individual images come at an investment of $20 per piece.

  • As early as you can. Dates usually book up quick- especially in the Fall.

  • We will try our best to avoid the rain.

    Whether that be from pushing it back an hour or even just rescheduling for another day, we will stay in touch up until the session to ensure that we are always on the same page. However, I can shoot in rain or shine, if need be.

  • I'm here to change your mind! I want everyone to feel comfortable and confident in their photos and I will do anything I can to alleviate any stress, whether it be through prompts or even playing some of your favorite songs! Most of my "posing" is less of a strict and rigid posing, but more of a guided prompt to get those authentic, candid moments to capture your true, beautiful self.

  • Yes! We are based in Southern New England and during some time periods per year in Hesse, Germany. I'd be honored to travel to capture YOU wherever you may need me, though.

    Please be aware that a travel fee may apply. For sessions over 50 miles from our home base, the IRS standard business mileage rate at the time of booking will be factored in, roundtrip. If your place of session is more than 125 miles away, a one-night hotel stay near the location is required. For locations exceeding 175 miles, a two-night stay is necessary. These arrangements ensure my timely arrival and efficient post-production for prompt sneak peak delivery. If I'm already in your area, a travel fee may not be applicable, so please just inquire.

  • Galleries will be sent through a password-protected online gallery service. Through this, you can view, favorite, download, and even share your photos!

    Please note: We do NOT deliver any RAW files, as we believe in delivering a finished product that represents our personal editing style.

  • We do require a 25% non-refundable retainer, in order to secure your date.

  • We at Wunderkind believe, community is EVERYTHING; it takes a village and we want to support said village. Besides our HERO DEALS ($50 off for our societal heroes) and the 20% discount for photo sessions that include your rescue puppy, we are determined to give away one charitable photo shoot per month, free of charge, to support for example Non-Profits or individuals and organizations in need.
